From compliance to structure, we help non-profits file correctly and maintain their status.
Non-Profit Filing is the process of registering and maintaining a nonprofit organization with the IRS (Internal Revenue Service).
This involves:
- Applying for tax-exempt status (usually through Form 1023 or 1023-EZ, to become a 501(c)(3) or another category).
- Submitting the required annual filings (such as Form 990, 990-EZ, or 990-N) to report finances and maintain tax exemption.
In other words: it’s the legal/bureaucratic process that allows a nonprofit in the U.S. to be officially recognized by the government and not pay federal income taxes.
